Howard Shore, Founder


Activate Group founder Howard Shore has active interest and ownership in multiple businesses. He is one of the country’s premier business coaches and a sales force development expert who has helped hundreds of executives and teams to improve business performance. He has held various leadership positions including CEO, and has a more than 25-year track record of exceptional results in multinational, public and private companies, across many industries and businesses that range from start-up to Fortune 500, and held positions in Ryder Systems, AutoNation and KPMG Peat Marwick.

In addition to his success as management consultant, coach and leadership trainer, Howard’s accomplishments include:

  • Bought, built and sold his business for 5x return-on-investment by age 21.
  • Grew Ryder Public Transportation Division from $400M to $600M—it sold for $1B at a price multiple of 8.6x EBITDA.
  • Created over $350M in profit opportunity through his strategic and business planning at Ryder Strategy Council.
  • Managed strategic initiative for AutoNation that involved $2B in inventory. His team developed and implemented organization-wide best practices that helped reduce supply from 99 to 60 days in a very short time-frame.
  • Led Equiflor Corporation out of sales stall point, which resulted in a Greater Miami Chamber Cutting Edge Award and significant improvements in profitability during a difficult industry cycle.

Howard is a Certified Business Coach, Certified Behavioral Analyst, Certified Values Analyst, Certified Attributes Index Analyst, Certified Gazelles Coach, and Certified Public Accountant, and an expert sales trainer. He has earned Bachelor and MBA degrees from Florida International University, and completed advanced executive programs at Harvard Law School and the University of Chicago.

In the community, Howard is on the Gazelles International Coaching Association, FIU Alumni Association, and is involved with the Entrepreneurs Organization.

Lazaro Sanchez


Mr. Sanchez has 20 years of experience in Strategy Development and Execution, Finance and Accounting, Organizational System Design & Implementation, Performance Management and Process Improvement. He is responsible for the development and management of a consulting organization focused on delivery, thought-leadership and performance; providing coaching and facilitation to various clients.

Formerly, Mr. Sanchez was the Vice President of Operations at the largest Florida based distributor of medical supplies with over 760 Million in Revenue. He was responsible for the organization’s operations from HR, IT, Procurement, Contract Management, Distribution and facility management. He was also the lead for all mergers and acquisitions, the development and design of the various distribution centers in Tampa, FL., Cleveland, OH as well as the facilities on Panama, Colombia, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Sanchez also was a senior consultant at KPMG. As part of their Global Consulting Practice, he worked with several clients leading Business Process Improvement projects, ERP system implementations, HR design and analysis as well as finance and accounting system designs and audits.

Rick Noland


Richard Noland started his career with Ernst & Ernst (Ernst & Young) working with SEC clients. He then went to Steego Corporation, a NYSE conglomerate. In 1979 he was recruited to Southeast Toyota Distributors, Inc. where he held several positions including Vice President of Accounting and Vice President of Operations. His biggest accomplishment was running Southeast Industrial Equipment a forklift operation, which he grew from $18 million to $50 million in annual sales. Since leaving JM Family he has been consulting with a variety of businesses such as a race track, health club, chemical distribution, promotional products, temp agency, background security and antiques.

Albert Noa


Albert Noa has over twenty-five years of experience in Strategy Development and Execution, Human capital Management, System Design and Implementation, Performance Management and Process Improvement across various industries.

Albert has held lead and management positions with KPMG LLP and FPL (Florida Power & Light); leading Business Process Improvement projects, system implementations, and HR design and analysis efforts for clients across various industries, including several Fortune 500 organizations.

Throughout Albert’s career he has served as a trusted enabler and advisor; combining experience, communications skills and vision with a basic common sense approach in developing organizations focused on delivery, thought-leadership, process, performance and the execution of strategy. He is a regular lecturer at MSMIS, MBA and International MBA classes at various Universities and presenter at various regional and national conferences.
